Android 15 has already entered the platform stability phase with the Beta 3 release. In this phase, Google resolves known bugs and adds finishing touches to prepare for the stable release, rather than adding new features.
Google says, the Beta 4 release finalizes developer APIs and all app-facing behaviours. Apps targeting Android 15 can now be made available in Google Play. As we’d expect, there aren’t new features in the latest beta release, but includes some fixes and optimizations.
This beta release suggests we’re really close to the stable release of Android 15, though Google might still release “.x” beta patches in the coming weeks.
