Infinix Phones That Will Get Android 15 Update

Google has already released early versions of Android 15, allowing users to test the new OS before the official rollout. Those early beta builds suggest Android 15 to be a big upgrade, bringing features like private space, notification cooldown, theft detection lock, app pairs, and more.

Android 15 is definitely going to be an exciting upgrade. But a lot of Infinix devices will miss out on this. The brand has been terrible with software rollouts in the past. And we don’t have high hopes with Infinix this time as well.

If you have an Infinix phone, review the list below to check if your device has a chance to get the Android 15 update.

Infinix Android 15 Eligible Devices List

  • Infinix Note 40 4G
  • Infinix Note 40 5G
  • Infinix Note 40 Pro 4G
  • Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G
  • Infinix Note 40 Pro+
  • Infinix GT 20 Pro

This is not the final list by any means. Infinix hasn’t yet released an official list. We’ve prepared it by analysing the company’s past rollouts. So, if your device is not on the list, wait for the official list.

Android 15 Release Timeline

Google recently released beta 3, taking Android 15 to the platform stability phase. This is the final phase of development, where the new OS is fine-tuned before the stable version is released.

The official release timeline of Android 15 is similar to last year’s Android 14 release. In fact beta releases, too, have been following the same pattern. So, if everything goes that way, Android 15 should have a stable version rolled out for the public in October.

Once the stable build is out, smartphone companies fine-tune their custom skins and add new features, in addition to Android 15 features and changes before the stable release. It can take a few days to weeks, but Infinix is sluggish during this phase.

If past rollouts are anything to consider, Infinix is unlikely to start sending Android 15 updates before December. Major brands such as Vivo, OnePlus, and Realme may start rolling out updates as early as October.
