The One UI 6.1.1 update is now rolling out for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 users in India, Europe, and Malaysia. For the Galaxy Z Flip 5, it has been spotted in India and Europe. The update could also be rolling out to other parts of Asia.
One UI 6.1.1 is a bulky update with a download size of over 2GB. So, ensure that you have sufficient data balance and a stable connection for a smoother installation. The update doesn’t include the September 2024 security patch, though. So, maybe another update will be released soon to install it.Â
If you have a Galaxy Z Fold 5 or Galaxy Z Flip 5 and belong to any of the regions mentioned above, check if an update is available. To do so, go to Settings > Software updates and hit the Download and install button.
The One UI 6.1.1 brings all the goodies from Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 to older foldables. New AI features include Sketch to Image, Composer, Portrait Studio, Sound search, a Listening mode for Interpreter, and voice translation during calls in third-party apps.
