One UI 7.0 stable rollout will take some more time

Samsung has been testing the patience of its Galaxy fans in the last few months with the long wait for a stable One UI 7.0 update. The rollout is already too delayed, but now it seems Samsung will take some more time before it begins the stable distribution.

A reliable tipster, Ice Universe, has revealed that Samsung will soon release the fourth One UI 7.0 beta for the Galaxy S24 series, and the stable version is still a long way off. The beta 4 update addresses the screen color calibration problem that occurred after installing the third beta.

The One UI 7.0 beta 3 update for the Galaxy S24 series has a bug that causes the display to look more yellow than originally intended. Samsung has resolved this by modifying the display color temperature setting, which will be included in the fourth beta.

Samsung usually takes at least a week to release the stable build after the last beta build kicks off. So, even if the fourth beta is released this week, Galaxy S24 users will have to wait another week to get the stable build. After Galaxy S24, other flagship models, such as Galaxy S23 and Fold 6/Flip 6, will soon join the party, followed by mid-range and budget models.

While Samsung hasn’t released the One UI 7 rollout plan yet, it has confirmed that all eligible Galaxy S-series models will get the stable update by the end of Q1 2025, which means before April. However, we also expect many mid-range and cheaper models will get the update during that time.
