Leak: One UI 7 is the biggest improvement in the history of One UI

While Vivo and Google are already rolling out the stable Android 15 update, Samsung is still preparing for the One UI 7 beta release. The South Korean giant hasn’t even revealed the beta release date, though it’s confirmed to arrive before the end of 2024. This long wait for the next One UI upgrade might be worth it, as One UI 7 is said to be the biggest improvement in the history of Samsung software.

The latest information comes from a reliable Samsung tipster, Ice Universe, who claims that One UI 7 will be the biggest improvement in the history of One UI. This improvement will greatly benefit animations, transitions, system stability, and user experience.

Further, the tipster claims that Galaxy S25 Ultra will bring the most powerful One UI 7 experience. That’s not because Samsung favors the latest flagship models, but it’s more due to the presence of 16GB RAM and a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (also known as Snapdragon 8 Elite) chipset on the Ultra model. This Qualcomm chip is said to be the most powerful chip for Android devices, with strong performance and energy efficiency.

According to him, Samsung has replaced multiple icons, including Gallery, Phone, Camera, Recorder, Contacts, and Samsung Notes. The new icons are said to be more reasonable and better looking.

Ice Universe, based on his personal experience, has given 60 points to One UI 6 software, 85 points to One UI 7 (running on Galaxy S24 Ultra), and 92 points to One UI 7.1 (running on Galaxy S25 Ultra). So, the upcoming One UI software looks very promising, and I can’t wait for the hands-on experience.
