The first One UI 7.0 beta update was initially supposed to launch over a month ago, but it didn’t happen, and the waiting game is still on. To make matters worse, Samsung has now revealed that it still hasn’t decided when to release One UI 7.0 beta.

The upcoming One UI 7 update, based on Android 15, is expected to be a rather major upgrade, adding plenty of new features and significant improvements. However, it seems the wait isn’t over.
A user on the Samsung Community Forum pointed out that One UI 6.0 beta, based on Android 14, was released right before the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) 2023. Following that pattern, One UI 7.0 beta should have been released by now as the SDC 2024 will kick off in a few ways, starting October 3. But we don’t have any sign of it coming.
In response to the user, a Beta moderator on the forum said, “We apologize that we are not disclosing any fix dates yet, but we will communicate the date once the decision is made through our Samsung Members.”

According to previous reports, Samsung wants to ship less buggy beta software and leave a good impression on beta testers, causing this delay. If this is true, the beta phase will take less time, which means a quicker rollout for the stable build.
