One UI 7 is a hot topic right now — but for bad reasons. The brand has significantly delayed the stable rollout, and its lack of communication is only making the matter worse. The latest information is another disappointment to Galaxy fans.

Recently, a leaked One UI 7 timeline surfaced on the internet, which was supposedly captured during a Samsung Romania Zoom meeting. That leak says the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6/Flip 6 will get the stable update on April 18, and also revealed the rollout dates for other devices.
A Samsung user took to Samsung Community to check if this leaked timeline is accurate. Replying to his post, a Samsung Community moderator, part of the One UI beta team, wrote, “Samsung is focused on ensuring a stable and polished release, which is why we avoid providing a fixed timeline until it’s finalized.” Yes, you read that right. Samsung still hasn’t finalized the One UI 7 rollout.
The beta moderator also says, “there is no official release date for the stable One UI 7 update, as the team is still working to refine the software based on Beta feedback and ongoing optimizations.”

February 2025 ended without any stable rollout, and now we’ve entered March, without any clue around the stable release. This is frustrating for many Galaxy users, given that Android 16 is halfway through its development. I firmly believe Samsung should address the delay and give valid reasons to justify it, or at least, release the timeline.
