As per the leaked details shared by XiaomiTime, the Chinese brand might start rolling out the HyperOS 2.0 update as soon as October 9. It’s expected to be rolled out to the Xiaomi 14, 14 Pro, and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro on the same day, and the Redmi K60 and K60 Ultra might get it the next day.
The report also mentions the HyperOS 2.0 internal beta build of some devices as follows:
- Xiaomi 14: OS2.0.0.12.VNCCNXM
- Xiaomi 14 Pro: OS2.0.0.11.VNBCNXM
- Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro: OS2.0.0.23.VNXCNXM
- Redmi K60 Ultra: OS2.0.0.17.VMLCNXM
Xiaomi has kept all HyperOS 2.0 details under the covers. The brand hasn’t even confirmed its arrival or commented on the release date. Hence, take these early leaks with a pinch of salt.

What’s New in HyperOS 2.0?
The upcoming HyperOS 2.0 is expected to bring loads of design changes, improvements, and some new features as well. Here are a few things that’s been leaked so far:
1. Redesigned Settings Menu
Xiaomi has kept the same design of the Settings menu for nearly a decade, and that’s finally getting a new design with the HyperOS 2.0. A leaked HyperOS 2.0 screenshot shows more smooth and intuitive Settings menu that’s easier to navigate.

2. A New Interface for Game Turbo
The upcoming HyperOS 2.0 might also include a completely redesigned interface for Game Turbo. The leaked screenshot looks a lot better than existing design and hopefully it will be smoother and provide easy access to the game options. It’s likely to be getting new game options as well.

3. Smoother Animations
HyperOS 2.0 is leaked to optimize animations to make them smoother and more stable than ever before. It will add to a better user experience.
4. More AI Integration
There’s a race among smartphone brands to bring the best AI features to the devices, and Xiaomi isn’t going to miss out on that. The existing HyperOS 1.0 skin already has some AI features, but there’ll be a lot more in the upcoming HyperOS 2.0.
HyperOS 2.0 is going to be an exciting upgrade, and users are eagerly waiting to test it out. But we’ll have to wait at least until October to see things happening, as per the new leak.
